Hello, and thank you for visiting my website.  Showcasing myself for vain glory is DEFINITELY not my style or intent, as finally getting up the nerve to start my Youtube channel (in the midst of so much adversity) has been one of the most difficult things I have done in my life.   But knowing that God has a plan and purpose for my life to share my journey with others so that some may be blessed, I HAD to press on, make the devil mad, and set it off- AS IS.  You see, God's plan, which became my desire, dream, and most bold prayer at the ripe young age of about 13, was for my life to be (not just a book, but) AN OPEN BOOK so I could be used by Him to bless others.

STEAL AWAY, urges Christians to take flight into the mountains, avoid the pending disaster, and prepare for the things Jesus said would come. 

"The Spirit of Us", demonstrates how African American music was influenced by a unique combination of African music and our experiences on the slave plantation, and how it has moved throughout history to influence most genres of today's music, including today's African music.  




Her comical style having been compared with that of Lucille Ball's in the stage play, A Day of Absence at the Black Repertory Theater in Berkeley, California (March, 2014), Anna Pulley of the East Bay Express quoted in reference to Lawrence:  "I especially liked it when, during the Mayor's awkward and impassioned televised speech to get the town's blacks to come back, he says, "Just give us a sign!" and the female aide behind him (Lawrence) took his words literally and spelled it out with sign language."

In addition to showcasing her acting skills as the Mayor's aid in A Day of Absence, Lawrence has performed in a variety of other stage plays and performances including those she wrote and the following:

Dr. Lawrence loves microphones and opportunities for self-expression.  Host of a monthly church luncheon for seniors, Lawrence has engaged in both national and international speaking opportunities, radio, television, and newspaper interviews, and the like, primarily discussing her books.  Lawrence is available for speaking engagements.






I get GREAT pleasure from directing people in seeing my vision come to fruition.  I especially love to see people really get into character and improve in their acting and singing skills.

I love business, residential care and helping the elderly and have been serving elderly individuals since the age of 13.  Recently certified as a Fall Prevention Specialist and Advisor, I have recently launched Senior Safety Program and Senior Safety Shop to help seniors stay safe in their homes.  I also provide business consultation services to help others establish their own Senior Safety business.
